Co-presented by Aurora Picture Show and Houston Cinema Arts Festival
Free Admission
Aurora and the Houston Cinema Arts Festival co-present this special screening of short, experimental works showcasing 3D filmmaking techniques using anaglyph, stereograph, and multi-layered imagery. Curated by HCAF Lead Programmer Michael Robinson and inspired by the festival theme, "My Eyes Are Playing Tricks on Me," this survey includes films by Ken Jacobs, Jodie Mack, Kerry Laitala, Darren Dominique Heroux, Rainer Kohlberger, and Lillian Schwartz, among others. Audience members will be provided with a variety of 3D glasses to enhance their viewing experience! Seating is limited for this and it is first come, first served. Doors open at 2:30pm.
NOTE: These films contain flashing images that may cause discomfort or trigger seizures for people with photosensitivity. Viewer discretion is advised.
