 Aurora Picture Show is dedicated to presenting unique media arts experiences in Houston, with year-round programming of special screenings, film festivals, live multidisciplinary performances, installations, artist talks, youth workshops, and more. We champion and support a diversity of media and multidisciplinary artists who work beyond the confines of traditional genres and creative practices. It’s important to us to maximize artist compensation while minimizing financial barriers for public accessibility to our programs. We continually collaborate with artists, curators, educators, museums, organizations, film festivals, libraries, schools, community centers, hospitals, and independent businesses in the Greater Houston area. Just as media art is a nexus of artistic disciplines, Aurora connects the community in an ongoing creative conversation.
