It’s time for Aurora Picture Show’s regular member social gathering and secret cinema! This Member Moviola will be held in the Flatland gallery space at Café Brasil in Montrose, where special guest Emily Vinson, Preservation Coordinator at University of Houston Libraries, will join us to present a few gems from their vast local film and television collection. We'll see rarely seen footage shot here in Houston between the 1950s and 70s, including documentary street scenes, modern interpretive movement by Texas Southern University dancers, and more! Snacks will be provided, and beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. As always, Member Moviola is free but for Aurora members only.
