Join us for Member Moviola, our quarterly member-only social and secret cinema gathering! This recurring event is a casual atmosphere for mingling with Aurora members and staff over beverages and light bites, and featuring a different presentation or mini-screening each time. For this installment, we’ll be celebrating the 100th birthday of visual artist, experimental filmmaker, collector, musicologist, and legendary eccentric Harry Smith! Aurora’s Peter Lucas will talk about Smith and present images of his early paintings, film clips, and music from his Anthology of American Folk Music.
