All are invited to the grand opening of Aurora Picture Show’s new space in Houston’s East End! Come see the city’s new home for film screenings, media art experiences, and more. The evening will feature atmospheric projections from Aurora’s archives, music by DJs Gracie Chavez and Flash Gordon Parks, light bites by Phoenicia Specialty Foods, cocktails by Double Trouble, and beer provided by Saint Arnold Brewery. Join us in launching this new chapter in Aurora’s legacy of creativity and community. Let’s warm this house!

Aurora Picture Show is located in Houston’s East End at 5601A Navigation Blvd., 7 blocks east of Lockwood (about 1.5 miles east of the Original Ninfa’s). Aurora is on the north side of Navigation. Our parking lot is located directly across the street, on the corner of Navigation and Portwood with entrances on both streets. (There’s also a limited number of parking spots in front of the building and street parking.)
